While I’m sitting around nursing and diaper changing and nursing and nursing, I wanted to share with you a video of me last year distributing diapers to a community in the Bay Area. I wanted to add, “Please disregard the bad hair,” but frankly, if you could see me best now, six days postpartum, you’d think I look outstanding in this video.
I’ve been so happy of the work we can do to help diaper every little bottom, and it was especially gratifying to be on the front lines passing out diapers. Can you imagine making 22 diapers stretch for 2 weeks? I can’t. When my first child was small, he used to go through 8 poopy diapers in a day. My third son? I can’t count quite yet.
