I couldn’t decide if I must title this “Help your kid be cool” or “Make yourself cool”. Either way, this is an activity whose payoff is years and years down the line.
I was reading MetroDad (who is funny and a fantastic writer, by the way) and saw that he and his wife are getting concert t-shirts for their now three-year old daughter so that “in 20 years, she’ll be able to glam out with brand-new vintage concert shirts.”
My husband has been instructed to get a tee shirt for his future teenagers when he goes to see the White stripes in a few weeks.
